Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao will receive a fight purse of not lower than $15 million or P660 million for his fight against five-division champion Shame Mosley.
According to Pacquiao’s lawyer and chief of staff, Atty. Franklin Gacal, the $15 million that Pacquiao will receive for this fight is the same fight purse that he has received in his previous fights.
The lawyer also said that the boxer will go through a very intensive training for 8 weeks.
He added that Pacman will receive around $20 million if they are to include the pay-per-view sales.
In the past five fights of the pound for pound king, he received an amount of about $68 million.
Pacman took home $15 milliion in his fight against Oscar dela Hoya, $13 million in his fight against Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto, $12 million against Joshua Clottey and a guaranteed fight purse of $15 million in his most recent fight against Antonio Margarito.
Pacquiao Vs Mosley is one of the biggest upcoming boxing event in the year 2011. Donaire Vs Montiel is also one of the most awaiting boxing fight in the month of February.
